1. Product introduction
The A9G is a complete quad-band GSM/GPRS module that supports GPRS and GPS/AGPS technologies and is integrated into a compact SMD package, saving customers time and money in developing GNSS applications.
The A9G can be used in a wide range of IoT applications for home automation, industrial wireless control, wearable electronics, wireless location-aware devices, wireless positioning system signals, and other IoT applications. It is an ideal solution for IoT applications.
The A9G is packaged in SMD and can be quickly produced through standard SMT equipment. It is especially suitable for modern, large-scale, low-cost production methods, and is convenient for use in various IoT hardware terminals.
Compared with the previous generation A6/A7, the integration of A9/A9G is higher, and the cost reduction of the core chip also makes the whole solution more cost-effective.
In terms of software, A9G has both inheritance and innovation:
1. A9G AT firmware is fully compatible with the new A6 firmware. It has experience in A6 and A7 development, and the software part can be seamlessly ported to A9G.
2. The new A9G adds a wit cloud interface and provides fast and seamless access to any cloud service provider on the market.
3. A9G positioning solution has been connected to the WeChat public account, and has a Demo App, which can view the device status, location, and historical trajectory online, facilitating customer verification and customization.
4. Newly added base station positioning function, using multi-base station positioning algorithm, can accelerate GPS positioning, or indoor/tunnel positioning without GPS signal. (The A9 module without GPS can also be positioned using the base station positioning function!)
5. A9G supports firmware secondary development (first C SDK, scripted environment will be released later)! A9G has 25 IO, UART, SPI, I2C, LCD, SDIO, ADC and other peripherals, in most cases can directly save the external MCU!
